She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Orok; her brothers, Ken and Ross Carpenter; and her parents, Kenneth Carpenter and Alma Carpenter.

She is survived by: her children, Kevin Orok of Thunder Bay, Calvin Orok of White River, Jan Mior (Derrick) of Thunder Bay and Bruce Orok (Rowena) of Athens, ON.; her grandchildren, Serena Orok (Lorne), Julie Orok, Danielle Mior, Ashley Mior, Shayne Orok (Ali), Justin Orok, Max Orok (Mikaela) and Gavin Orok; her sister-in-law Natalie Carpenter (Carpenter) of Rossyln; her nieces and nephews, Murray, Scott, Bradley, Ian, Delray, Jerry and Holly Carpenter; her sister-in-law Kay Orok; her nieces, Bonnie Cornell, Barbara Bates-Kaario and Karen Orok; and her nephew Alan Orok.

Donations will be welcome in Shirley Orok's name to St. Paul's Anglican Church and The Alzheimer Society.
