With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eva Lawer of Thunder Bay, Ontario, who passed away on March 14, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son-in-law John Nania; and her great grandchild Annabelle Eve Escarra. She is survived by: her husband George (Jourko); her children, Kim Nania Stockwell (Richard), Anna Lawer Mareno (Frank), Deb Bissonnette (Dan) and Winston Lawer; her grandchildren, Kara Nania, Ryan Alexeev (Sergei), John Nania (Eni), Kristin Mareno Koehlmoos (Kolby), Nikki Mareno Escarra (Greg) and Alyx Cannon Shaw (Courtney); and her great grandchildren, Anastasia, Alexander Alexeev, James Escarra and Kora Koehlmoos.

If friends desire, donations in memory of Eva would be welcomed to the Thunder Bay District Humane Society or any other local animal rescue.
