It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ellen Kareno (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on June 27, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Matti Savela and Anna Savela; her former husband Niilo; and her siblings, Sanni and Esko.

She is survived by: her husband Olavi Harja.
