It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Gosselin Loewen (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on June 1, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Loewen; her son Glenwood; her parents, Oliver Gosselin and Margaret Gosselin (Watson); her brother James Gosselin (Joan); and her siblings-in-law, Henry Loewen and Betty Loewen Kennedy.
She is survived by: her children, Carla (Robert Wright), Kim (Terry Tinsley) and David (Fay Monahan); her stepgrandchildren, Kassandra (Rob), Mike, Melissa and Tara; and her great grandchildren, Annastasia, Brianna, Carson, Braxton, Aaliyah, Autumn, Ciera, Tyra and Melanie.
Although tiny in stature she made a lasting impression on all who met her and they will always remember the lady who called them " "Baby Girl". The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at St. Joseph's Hospital for their care of Joan. Also the management and staff of the Walford Residence which she called home the past 2 years. A private family interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery. In Joan's memory donations to the St. Joseph's Hospital, Box 3251, 35 Algoma St N, Thunder Bay, ON P7B 5G7 would be appreciated.
