He was predeceased by: his son Evan Wesley; his father Steven Keash; his stepfather Maio Quequish; his brothers, Sam Keash and Clifford Keash; and his brother-in-law Dennis Fobister.

He is survived by: his mother Caroline Keeash; his close friend Gayle Wesley; his children, Kelli Quill, Emery Wesley, Hope Wesley and Eli Jr. "Dewey" Wesley; his stepson Ethan Wesley; his grandchildren, Penelope, Rupert, Robert and Gregory; his siblings, Veronica Fobister, Dorothy Keeash, Denise Keeash (Mike), Zeb Kenequanash (Darlene), James Adams, Thomas Quequish, Donald Quequish, Rosalie Quequish and Bernie Quequish; his stepmother Caroline Quequish; and his former wife Elaine Wesley. He is also survived by Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends.
