It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elaine Toykkala (Thunder Bay, Ontario), born in Nipigon, Ontario, who passed away on October 13, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Fawcett and Edith Fawcett; her siblings-in-law, Urho and Limpii Toykkala; and her husband Martti Toykkala.
She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Robinson (Maynard), Tommy Toykkala, Dawn Cuzzetto (Franco) and James Toykkala; her grandchildren, Victoria, Kayla, Teemo, Spencer, Emily, Alessandro, Adriano and Liam; her siblings, Betty-Jean Fawcett and Bruce Fawcett (Zelda); her sister-in-law Shirley Nelson (Glen); her niece Candace (Andre); and her nephews, Casey (Kristy) and Shayne (Dayna). She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to a charity of your choice or the Nipigon District Memorial Hospital in Elaine's name be made.
