Eila Kosowan Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eila Kosowan (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on August 19, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Kivi and Laimi Kivi; her siblings, Esko, Elmer and Elsie; her grandson Douglas; her sisters-in-law, Toini and Susie; and also, Jackie, Tony Campbell and George Wassiljew.

She is survived by: her husband Jarvis; her daughters, Shelley (Norman), Joy (Kevin) and Melody (Gary); her grandchildren, Melissa, Natalie (Josh), Andrea (Marc), Adam, Mariah (Chase), Shaniah, Tobias (Gabby), Braunson, Craig (Olena) and Adelle (Bryce); her great grandchildren, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Noah, Sophia, Conrad, Audrey and Emmerson; her siblings, Evelyn, Ernie (Nancy) and Edwin; her sister-in-law Iris; and her parents-in-law, Lawrence (Barbara), Helen, Elsie, Diane and Mike. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Eila's memory can be made to Grace Place of Thunder Bay or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
