He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Haney and June Wheatley; his son Jeffery Haney; and his parents-in-law, Monica Slattery and Richard Kolton.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary; his children, Kayla Santerre (Colin) and Robin Haney (Tamara); his stepchildren, Tanner Pecarski (Steph) and Khali Pecarski; his daughter-in-law Lilliane Haney; his stepfather Lyle Wheatley; his siblings, Diane Dragan (Mark), Nelson Haney (Ruth), Deanna Haney and Melody Shute (Mike); his mother-in-law Frances Kolton; and his grandsons, Michel, Mathieu, Noah, Colton and Nathan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his honour to the Canadian Cancer Society or Greenstone Want a Pet.
