She was predeceased by: her husband John; her sisters, Gail Single (Harold) and Kathy Finnbogason; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Chrustie (Marguerite), Ann Chrustie and Harold Flatt.
She is survived by: her children, Kim (Marielle) of Winnipeg, Ken (Karen), Maureen (John) of Thunder Bay, Linda of South Carolina and Dianne of Sudbury.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Thunder Bay Conservatory or the Thunder Bay Branch of the Alzheimer's Society.
