It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald C Strickland (Thunder Bay, Ontario), born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Strickland and Theresa Strickland; and his siblings, Maria Theresa and Keltie Strickland. He is survived by: his significant other Julie Lawrence; his sons, Shane Strickland (Nadia) and Michael Strickland (Barb); his stepdaughter Melody Lawrence (Jasson); his grandchildren, Emma, Maeve, Noah, Adam and Joshua; and his brothers, Russell Strickland (Cassie) and Scott Strickland (Larry). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
