It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Daniel Kainula (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 63, on July 5, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Waino Kainulainen and Rita Kainulainen; his brother Ken Ferracin; his brother-in-law Bert Medwid; and his mother-in-law Ruth Baglien.

He is survived by: his wife Wendy Kainula; his child Ashley Baglien Aaron (Rolland Bisaillon); his granddaughter Olivia Bisaillon; his siblings, Wayne Kainula (Brenda Kainula), Wendy Rayworth Gale Hansen (Tim Rayworth), Donna Medwid and Barb Wellington (Art Wellington); his in-laws, David Baglien, Heather Horncastle, Lara West Baglien and Charlene Baglien; and also Alene Ferracin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Da Vinci Centre (340 Waterloo St S, Thunder Bay, ON P7E6H9).

Should friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Danny's memory to The Health Sciences Centre, Northern Cancer Fund.
