Clayton Shapwaykeesic Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clayton Shapwaykeesic (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Marceline and Dennis Sr. Shapwaykeesic; his aunts and uncles, Dennis Jr., Leo Bouchard, Darlene, Linda and Charlotte; and also Katherine Lachinette.

He is survived by: his parents, Wayne Shapwaykeesic and MaryJane Shapwaykeesic; his siblings, Ian (Pras), Leon and Kathy; his children, Keiton, Kallie, Aubree, Tyden and Delilah; his nieces and nephews, Hailey Jane, Andre, Mark Jr., Teigan and Tatum; and his aunts and uncles, Nancy, Yvonne, Jeanette, Lucy, Valerie, Ambrose and Leslie (Sandra). He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sargent & Son Chapel (21 Court St N, Thunder Bay, ON P7A4T4). A wake was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at the Family Home. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Snows R C Church (21 Court St N, Thunder Bay, ON P7A4T4).
