With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bridget Aho (Thunder Bay, Ontario), born in Newport, Connaught, who passed away on July 24, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Farrell and Mary Farrell; her former husband Patrick O'Rourke; her husband Arthur Aho of Thunder Bay; her sons, John, Martin and James O'Rourke; her grandson Evan Hewitson; her son-in-law John Boland; and her siblings, William, Theresa, Martin, Edward and Margaret.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Boland (Ireland), Thomas O'Rourke, Patricia Postuma (Ben), Breda Hewitson (Rob) and Daniella O'Rourke; her grandchildren, Carmel Boland, Michael Boland (Jillian), Louise Bermingham (Shane), Patrick O'Rourke, Natasha Horrigan (Owen), Mairead O'Rourke, Justin Postuma (Stephanie), Brandon Postuma (Natalie), Seamus Postuma (April), Tomas Postuma (Allison), Bridget Postuma (Kevin) and Nathan Hewitson (Carey); and her sister Kathleen Buckley (Ireland). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone and maintaining social distancing of 6 feet is mandatory for those attending the services.
