He was predeceased by: his parents, Jantje Spanninga and Louwe Spanninga; and his grandparents, Hilda Westra and Roel Westra. He is survived by: his children, Benjamin (Meghan), Anna (Travis), Brooklyn (Josh), Kristen (Nick) and Paige (Seth); his grandchildren, Rylan, Makenna, Jaxon, James and Lily; and his siblings, Art (Terry), Alice (Bill), Jen (Heather) and Rudy. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.
