Barbara Jean Ashbee Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Ashbee (Thunder Bay, Ontario), born in Orangeville, Ontario, who passed away on August 30, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sister Marilyn; and her parents, Jessie Maxwell and Leonard Maxwell. She is survived by: her spouse Dale; her children, William (Trish), Meaghan and Carey (Nathan); her grandchildren, Madeliene (Vancouver), Jackson, Avilene and Elijah (Thunder Bay); and her sisters, Lois (Manitoulin) and Hilda (Orangeville).

Following her 2020 retirement Barb spent considerable time with her grandchildren, providing considerable care to the youngest during public and preschoolers through the pandemic period.
