He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Kydd and Roy Kydd; and his siblings, Iris (Syd Prystay), Bobby (Rosie), Sally (Bill Miller), Rickie and Ronnie.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his daughters, Beth, Debbie (Deb Malazdrewicz) and Sheri (Sean Feser); his stepchildren, Michael Lajoie (Annette Ward), Mark Lajoie and Andrea Lajoie (Derek Gradner); his grandchildren, Alesha, Marissa (Pat Nemish), Brendan and Ashlynn; and his brother Leonard.
