It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arlene Hardick (Thunder Bay, Ontario), born in McKellar, Ontario, who passed away on March 20, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father James Oliver; her husband Robert "Bob"; her mother Olivia Oliver Tennant; her parents-in-law, Charles and Una Hardick; her siblings, Marilyn Lemcke (Wayne) and James Oliver; and her sister-in-law Vera Kearney (George).

She is survived by: her children, Daniel (Lori), Betty Ann Sutherland (Brent), David (Janis), Susan Shuplak, Margaret Paglaro (Thomas) and Alison MacDonald (Rankin) of Sooke, BC; her grandchildren, Ashley, Carly (Ron Frost), Chelsey (Jen Scott), Evan Sutherland (Carolyn) of New Zealand, Cory Sutherland (Brittany Kavcar), Brendan (Kayla), Erin (Murray Magill), Stuart, Adam Shuplak, Derek Maki, Emma, Quinn, Claudia MacDonald of Sooke, BC, Brayden, Olivia Frost, Charlotte and James Hardick; her siblings, Karen Davis (Robert), Marlane Allan (John) of Ladysmith, BC and Frederick Oliver (Cathy) of Toronto; and her sister-in-law Isobel Oliver. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
