It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Antonio Tavares of Thunder Bay, Ontario, who passed away on April 18, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Antonio Tavares to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Maria of Lurdes; his parents, Joao Rosario and Maria Do Rosario; and his siblings, Jose, Luis, Manuel, Jacinto, Joao Tavares and Maria Estrela.

He is survived by: his stepson Isaac Tavares (Michelle); his grandchildren, Cassandra (Leonard) and Alexander (Georgia); and his brothers, Moses (Adelaide) and Lee (Elaine). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St Andrew's Dew Drop Inn in Thunder Bay would be greatly appreciated.
