She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugenio Tegola and Giustina Tegola. She is survived by: her children, Danny (Susan), Ricky (Quy) and Sandra (Carlo); her grandchildren, Nicholas, Jasmin, Anthony, Jessica, Tiana and Daniel; her husband Mario Polito; her brothers, Tony (Gladys) and Mario (Nancy); and her caregivers, Amy, Sarah of Unit and Toni. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel (21 Court St N, Thunder Bay, ON P7A4T4). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Sargent & Son Funeral Home (21 Court St N, Thunder Bay, ON P7A4T4).
