Anne Siska Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2021, at the age of 85, Anne Siska (Thunder Bay, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brother John; and her siblings-in-law, Rolande (Bill), Steve (Nicole), Hugh (Olga) and Brian (Martha).

She is survived by: her significant other John Siska; her significant other's children, Lori, Russell, Krista and Michael; her children, Lori and Michael (Suzanne); her grandchildren, Sarah, Jonathan and Stephen; her daughter Krista (Tony); her grandchildren, Michael (Angela), Patrick (Kathleen), Tanya (Dave) and Theresa (Nick); her great grandchildren, Joshua, Carter and Rosie; her siblings, Olga, Martha, Rudy, Bill and Ernie; her close friends, Krista and Michael; her great grandchild Georgia; and also, Ivahn (Christine), Aubrey, Emmett, Annie (Ryan), Lex, Ariya, Georgia and Alex. She is also survived by spouses and grandchildren.

She survived many health issues of her own including bowel and breast cancer and cardiac issues and moved into Chartwell where she enjoyed the lively company of many friends until worsening health and frequent falls during the early days of the COVID pandemic required a move into Roseview LTC. There she survived COVID but never regained her full mobility and tragically suffered the loss of many of her new co-residents.
