She was predeceased by: her parents, Ann Rempel and Peter Rempel; her husband Frederick Donald Wilson; her siblings, Harry Rempel, Lillian Hatle, Ruth Atkins and Betty Jerome; and her son-in-law Stirling Halvorsen.

She is survived by: her sons, Richard (Devona Crowe) and David; her granddaughters, Audrey Halvorsen and Carrie Romanec (John); her nephew Clifford Hatle; her grandchildren, Sara, Tim, Luke Romanec, Kate Burns, David Halvorsen (Amy) and Kathy Cooper (Russ); her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Noah Burns Ahtila (Kari Wilson), Callum Halvorsen (Kat Isenor), Nicole, Laura and Evan Cooper; her great great grandchild Niiko Halvorsen; her siblings, Susan Smith, Leona LeMasurier, John (Denis) and Richard Rempel; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Manning, Jeanne Lisenchuk (Jack), Margaret Wilson, Barbara Mete (Jimmy) and Gerald Hinds (Shirley). She is also survived by mother to her children.
