He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; his daughter Beth Churchman (Fred); his grandsons, Matthew and Nicholas (Cait); his great grandchild Odin; his grandchildren, Judith Deschamps (Les), Adrienne (Luke), Collin (Jen), Daniel and James (Shelby); his sisters, Violet Alexander and Margaret Fredericks; his siblings-in-law, Shirley LaForme, Florence Pedersen, Edward Pedersen (Jackie) and Gordon Pedersen (Margaret); and his caregivers, Michelle Mercier, Bayshore, Darryl, Ankit, Push, William, Romeo and Brian.
In lieu of flowers, as per Alf's wishes, donations may be made to Our Hearts at Home Cardiovascular Campaign (healthsciencesfoundation.ca) or to the Regional Cancer Center.
