Alexander Paul Matarazzo Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alexander Paul Matarazzo (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on April 22, 2023, at the age of 24, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Frank Matarazzo, Mildred and Chris Schmelzle; and his uncle Craig Schmelzle. He is survived by: his parents, Paul and Connie; his siblings, Jack, Maggie and Frazer; his aunt Mimi Ventrudo; his godparents, Gina and Mark Maier; his grandmother Evelyn Mackenzie; his uncle David Matarazzo (Cathy); his cousin Alysha; his aunt Sharon Matarazzo; his uncle Chris Schmelzle; his cousin Ember McKillop; and his aunt Claire Chiasson (Gary).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Alexander to any of the following: The Calvary Lutheran Church Building Fund, The Northwood Hockey League (c/o Everest Funeral Chapel) and Confederation College (c/o the Office of Development).
