It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alex Venasky in Thunder Bay, Ontario, who passed away on March 18, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alex Venasky to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Pearl Osipenko; his parents, Harry Venasky and Dora Venasky; his siblings, Mary Lesovich (Stephen), John (Sophie), Bill (Nellie) and Steve Venasky (Louise); his son-in-law Ken McCoy; and his friend Ann Swanton.

He is survived by: his children, Don Venasky (Carol), Linda Simpson, Debbie Fawcett (Don) and Janice McCoy; his grandchildren, Scott Simpson (Chrissy), Rick Simpson (Jessica), Lori Wronowski (Robert), Colin Venasky (Jessica), Donald Fawcett (Kaitlyn), Nicole DeLong (Adam), Daryl McCoy (Amy) and Gary McCoy (Nadine); his great grandchildren, David Simpson (Justine), Jessica Walker (AJ), Courtney Simpson, Jordyn Simpson, Megan Wronowski, Matthew Wronowski, Paige Venasky, Sophie Venasky, Jace DeLong, Brianna DeLong, Logan McCoy, Mason McCoy, Denon McCoy, Tricia McCoy and Noah McCoy; his great great grandchild Ainsley Simpson; his friends, Jack, Teddy and Muriel; and also Polly. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and so many other friends.
