He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfrid Sr. and Simone; his siblings, Marie Jane and Leo; his sister-in-law Jeanine; and his wife Carole.

He is survived by: his children, Diane Nicholls, Lillie Desjardins and Denis Desjardins (Maria); his siblings, Pauline Richards (late Rossaire), Theresa Christensen (late Jerry) and Paul Desjardins (late Margaret); and his siblings-in-law, Pauline Rioux and Raymond Rioux (Gislaine).

Memorial donations to the R.C. Legion Branch 4 in Welland or the Lung Health Foundation will be appreciated by his family.
