He was predeceased by: his son Don Hetherington (Anne); and his siblings, Harold and Doris. He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his children, Debralee Van Dyk (Martin) and Gordon Hetherington (late Cathy); his great grandchildren, Freyja, Felix, Olivia and Harper; and his nieces and nephews, Helen (late Don), Laurie (Barb), Doreen (Bob), Carol (late Gerald) and Wendy (Simon).
