He was predeceased by: his son Guy; his parents, Lionel and Clara; and his siblings, Pauline (Len), Denise (Andy), Maurice (Sydney), Rolland (Beatrice), Gerald, Raymond (Marlene) and Daniel.

He is survived by: his wife Rose; his children, Rhonda Nye (Bob), Peter and Roger John (Shirley); his grandchildren, Theresa, Danielle, Chris, Carson, Chloe, Freddy, Damien and Juliane; and his siblings, Frances Clarke (Peter) of Barrie, Larry (Anne) of Angus, Robert (Louisanne) of Candiac and Michael of North Bay. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
