He was predeceased by: his son Robert Kelly; his parents, Anthony and Viola of Fonthill; and his siblings, James, Bonnie and Dawne.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his daughters, Shelley (Gord) and Leah; his grandchildren, Caitlin Vaux (Dave), Lauren Hilary White, Dylan Hand (Bryar) and Jade Vandewater (Tanner); his great grandchildren, Aidan and Isla Vaux; his siblings, Gary, Rebecca Utz (Allan), Gloria Bozzato (Alistair), Brian (Nancy) and Carole Timm (Roy); his cousin June (family: England, Teglio Veneto); and his friend Inco.
