It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Lane Barnhart (Thorold, Ontario), who passed away on February 16, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Nicole Tan; his parents, Norman and Hazel (Lane); and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Muise, Diana Barnhart and Carl Kratz.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Michael and Kathy Rose-Legault (Michel); his son-in-law Felix Tan; his grandchildren, Steven Rose (Alice), Christopher Rose (Melinda) and Jennifer Gibson; his great grandchildren, Michael Lane, Isabella and Zackary; his brother Ronald; his siblings-in-law, Sandy Muise and Lucy Kratz; and his friends, Keith and Ann Houtby. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Per Richard's wishes cremation has taken place and due to current Covid restrictions there will not be a memorial service at this time.
