He was predeceased by: his sibling Giselle Letourneau; his parents, Noella Lecompte and Fernand Lecompte; his father-in-law Edgar Hines; and his brother-in-law Larry Haygood.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Paul (Deidre) and Lori (Dominic Denapoli); his grandchildren, Meagan, Liam, Kaylan, Owen, Madisyn and Benjamin; his sister Madeline Haygood; his mother-in-law Betty Hines; and his siblings-in-law, Debbie (Pete), Patti (Roger), Sandi (Norm), Mike and Mark (Jenn). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
