He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anna; his child Elisabetta Nero (Vince); his grandchildren, Devyn (Zack) and Josh (Brooke); his great grandchildren, Sofia and Sienna; his siblings, Rosetta (Tonino) and Enza (late Roberto); and his siblings-in-law, Angelina (late Angelo), Salvatore (Mary), Emma (Bernardo), BiancaRosa, Vilma (late Fernando), Paula (Giovanni), Mauro (Sharon) and Igea (Giuseppe). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
