She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John (Don); her children, Vivian Proctor (John), Colleen Bunston (Allan), Karen Thompson, Eileen Watson (Phil) and Jillian Anger (Rob); her grandchild G. G.; her sister Sheila Burge; and her parents, Arthur Hurley and Mary Hurley. She was also cherished by her many Nieces, Nephews, extended family members and friends.

Due to the COVID 19 restrictions on indoor gatherings, Visitation and Funeral Services will be Private.

Donations in memory of Melba may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Charity of One's Choice.
