He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Ryan; his brother Paul Ryan; and his father Patrick Ryan. He is survived by: his wife Frances; his child Hunter; his siblings, Kelly Ryan-Mclean and Peter Ryan (Brenda); his nieces and nephews, Kerri-Ann Mclean and Owen Ryan; his parents-in-law, Frank and Anna Nero; and his brothers-in-law, Vince Nero (Barb) and Michael Nero. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cremation has taken place and due to Covid 19 restrictions, the celebration of life will be held at a later date.
