We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Irene Laverne Russell (Thorold, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Art; and her daughter Kelly. She is survived by: her close friend Colin Winterbottom; her children, Darlene (Greg Duggan) and Shawn; her grandchildren, Lee Rocco, Brandon Russell, Shannon Russell, Samantha and Gage Rocco; and her brother Russ Stevenson (Lynn). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, long time friends.

Cremation has taken place, family celebration will be held at a later date due to COVID.

When our children were young, your mom and I spent a lot of time together it was sheer fun. During apple season or summer fun in the pool, it was always the place to be. Laverne's intelligence, kindness, gentle ways and love for her family is what I admired most about her. I learned so much from her, and feel blessed to have known Laverne. Sincerely Diane Marlatt”
