He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Futia and Filomena Futia; and his in-laws, Renato and Verra Sanna. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Aurora Futia (Sanna); his children, Renata Albanese (Remo), Sam Futia (Tina) and Franca Milana (Mike); his grandchildren, Alexandra Figliomeni (Roberto), Marco, Julia Albanese, Luna and Lorenzo Milana; his great grandchild Sofia Figliomeni; his sisters, Maria Tricomi (Alfredo), Marcella Futia (Mario) and Valeria Caccamo (Pasquale); his sisters-in-law, Zios and Zias; his family, Dr. Linda Lee, Nicole, Dr. Katrin Conen and Merek; and his close friend Dr. Robert Dinawell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to make a donation in Frank's memory to Sick Kids Hospital.
