Elsie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Bill; and her parents, Anna Wiens (John) and Abram Woelk. She is survived by: her children, Bill Murtland (Maria), Terry Kapes (Roger) and Anita Marrara; her grandchildren, Angel Honeywood (Chris), Jackie Montgomery (Kris), Lauren Murtland, Stephanie Hunse (Tyler), Joseph Marrara (Kailynn) and Alyssa Marrara (Gavin); her great grandchildren, Kiersten, Brianna, Quintyn, Jasper, Jamieson, Addison, Olivia and Sam; and her siblings, Nick Woelk (Frances) and Anne Thiessen (John). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pleasantview Funeral Home (2000 Merrittville Hwy., Thorold L0S1E6). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pleasantview Memorial Gardens (2250 ON-20, Fonthill, ON L0S1E6). A burial was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
