With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Martha Mae Bantten (Thorold, Ontario), who passed away on June 20, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband George Bantten; her parents, Florence Whyte and Byron Whyte; and her sisters, Annie (Arthur) and Emily (Chris).

She is survived by: her children, Leonard Bantten, Allen Bantten (Kim) and Beverly Topolinsky (Allan); her grandchildren, Crystal (Brian), Amanda (Joe), Michelle (Lucus), Jennifer (Josh), Jacob and Hannah (Matthew); and her great grandchildren, Noah, Matthew, Emma, Elizabeth, Beau, Beckham, Ocean, Cheyenne, Jayce and Kie.

Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Walker Family Cancer Centre, Hospital for Sick Kids or First Baptist Church of Welland.
