He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Cleary and Eva Cleary; his brothers, Ronald Cleary and Joseph Cleary; and his son Johnathon Christopher Cleary.

He is survived by: his child Carolanne Pychel; his grandchildren, Ashley Pychel (Paul), Robert Pychel and Michael Pychel (Chloe); and his great grandchild Ava. He is also survived by his family and friends.
