She was predeceased by: her husband Pieter; her son Ronald; and her siblings, Jaap and Piet. She is survived by: her daughter Marina Whissell (Ron); her daughter-in-law Joanne; her grandchildren, Sharlene Koziej (Ed), Jason Whissell (Genevieve Lallier), Todd Kreulen (Nycole), Rhonda Sliwa (Lukasz), Xander, Brenden Koziej, Kayden, Lauralyne, Jackson Lallier-Whissell, Morgan, Jeremy Kreulen, Devon and Graham Sliwa; and her siblings, Nel, Venema, Henk, Adrie DeMol (Henk), Harry (Mary), Ray (Debbie) and Jannie Zondag (Cor). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial condolences can be made to Meadows of Dorchester, Hospice Niagara, or Alzheimer's Society.
