He was predeceased by: his parents, Francesco Avolio and Giacinta Avolio; and his siblings, Pasquale (late Maria), Mario, Fraolina and Maria.
He is survived by: his wife Yolanda; his children, Nina Ciccone (Tony), Josephine Citrigno (late Frank), Diana Mateka (Jeff), John Avolio (Carla) and David Avolio (Tara); his grandchildren, Kristan Ciccone (Matthew Mackenzie), Michael Ciccone (Kim Stoltz), Andrea Mateka (Boston Dell Vandenberg), Monika Citrigno (Ken Martin), Austin Mateka (Emily), Julia Avolio and Noah Avolio; his great grandchildren, Ford Mackenzie and Georgia Dell Vandenberg; his brother Antonio Avolio (late Anna); and his sister-in-law Gina Avolio. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Due to COVID restrictions, Alberto's family will have a private Funeral Mass with entombment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be appreciated by his family.
