She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Apraham Nekrourian and Sima Nekrourian; her spouse Jirair Stepanian; her children, Sonia (Vartan) and Raffi (Salpy); and her grandchildren, Ari, Tivene, Alec and Aren. She was also cherished by her family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Shakeh's memory may be made to St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church, ARS Day School, or The Alzheimer Society of Canada.
