He was predeceased by: his parents, Karlo Suvanto and Olga Suvanto; and his sister Reija Kontkonen. He is survived by: his wife Flore Allen (Flo); his stepgranddaughters, Erin Doye (Patrick) and Megan Doyle; his daughter Marikka; his stepson John; and his friend Sweden. He is also survived by previous marriage as well as many nieces and nephew and godchildren.
