With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Katheryn Mary Broughton (Thornhill, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Duncan A. MacLean and Barbara Aitchison (Ray); and her siblings, Barbara (Rae) Yeates (Keith Yeates), Margaret MacLean, Merlyn Beeckmans (Pierre Beeckmans) and James MacLean.
She is survived by: her husband James Broughton (Jim); her sister Oriole Anderson; her children, Karen Kingsmill and Stephen Clifford; her granddaughter Jennifer (Jenny) Kingsmill (Emmanuel Madec); her great grandchild Noah Madec Kingsmill; her nephews, Ian Yeates, Neil Yeates, Andrew Yeates and Ivan Beeckmans; and her niece Megan Beeckmans.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation in Kae's memory to either FINCA (Foundation for International Family Assistance) or Plan International Canada, an organization devoted to the well-being of girls and women around the world.
