It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Louise Matthews (Thornhill, Ontario), who passed away on July 18, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Matthews and Sophie Matthews. She is survived by: her siblings, Dr. Dianne Ajram (Michael) and Richard Matthews (Donna); her nieces and nephews, Matthew Dybenko (Agnes), Ryan Matthews (Laura Sovran), Trevor Dybenko (Gina) and Ashlee O'Connor; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ava, Braeden, Caitlin, Cassie, Viviana, Bianca, Marcus, Luca, Nico and Leo. She is also survived by her family, friends.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society of Ontario.
