With solemn reverence, we commemorate Elda Schembri (Thornhill, Ontario), whose life came to an end on January 9, 2025 at the age of 65, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gregorio Ruffa and Anna Ruffa; and her sister Pasqualina. She is survived by: her husband Jospeh Schembri; her children, Pasquale Schembri (Irina), Maria Evans (Dal) and Alessandra Schembri (Caleb); and her siblings, Anna Roberts (Peter), Gregory Ruffa (Giselle) and Mike Ruffa (Lora).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home (211 Langstaff Rd E, Thornhill, ON L3T3Z6). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of St. Joseph – Holy Cross (211 Langstaff Rd E, Thornhill, ON L3T3Z6).
