He was predeceased by: his parents, David Gambell and Eleanor Gambell; and his siblings, Donald Gambell, Murray Gambell and Shirley Wiggins.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, David (Rosalyn), Kim (Greg) and Doug (Kristine); his grandchildren, Laura (Junior), Julie (Darren), Alex (Tanya), Anthony (Lindsay), Kristen and Ryan; and his great grandchildren, Cecelia and William.
