He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Linley; his parents, William Linley and Marguerite Linley; his siblings, Albert Linley (late Jean), Arthur Linley (late Lottie), Lois Orford (late Delbert), Janice Linley and Lyle Linley (June); and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Sengstock (late Lloyd) and George Lambroff (late Nancy).

He is survived by: his children, Sara Jane Linley of Iron Bridge, Janice Morningstar (Jim) of Blind River, Teddy Linley (Paulette) of Sault Ste and Marie; his grandsons, Wesley Morningstar (Melissa), Michael Linley, Tommy Morningstar (Kyle) and Trevor Linley (Cory-Lynne); and his siblings, Evelyn Hamilton (late Jack), Howard Linley (Lois) and Judy Linley (late Coy Fogal). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
