She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Whitfield; her parents, Hjelmer Peterson and Margetta Peterson of Radville, Saskatchewan.; her siblings, Roger Peterson (Helen), Lillace Whitfield (late Irwin) and Dewaine Peterson; and her siblings-in-law, Lloyd Whitfield (Eunice), Irwin Whitfield (late Lillace), Lois Kirkpatrick (late Willis) and Alma Bunting (Bill).

She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Flood (late George), Wanita Barber (Keith) and Donna Whitfield; her grandchildren, Paul Flood (Dale), Kristopher Flood (Laura) and Tiffany Belanger (Patric); her great grandchildren, Delilah Flood, Connor, William Flood, Ethan Barber, Titus, Mahalia, Jude and Kaleb Belanger; and her siblings, Ruth Bailey (late Ray) and Robert Peterson (Marilyn). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended families and friends.
