He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Kristyn and Tim Wilson; his parents, Marie Bell and Marshall Bell; his siblings, Tom, Gabriella, Steve, Debbie and Joanne Cadman; his siblings-in-law, Christine Bell, June Bell and Bill Brass; and his nephews, Shawn Bell and Mathew Elson.

With Doug's love of his community and the youth in the area in mind, donations are appreciated by the family to Knox Presbyterian Church, with special designation to the area Youth Programs.
