She was predeceased by: her parents, David Whittaker and Patricia Whittaker; and her sister-in-law Susan Waltron (Terry). She is survived by: her husband Warren Shantz; her son Andrew Shantz (Candace); her siblings, Julian (Kay), Peter (Mary) and Julie (Tim); and her sisters-in-law, Judy Shantz and Janet Adams (late Don). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
